Teens charged in armed spoliation during guaranty shop

Two teenagers indicted of robbing a guaranty emporium in Pembroke Park during gunpoint ran divided after their revolver tangled and an workman confronted them with a shotgun.

Alexander Vargas, 18, of West Park, was arrested Thursday and charged with spoliation with a firearm and pot possession after his 17-year-old confederate was taken into control and confessed to their impasse in a Feb. 25 robbery, a sheriff’s news said.

It was around noon that day when dual teenagers with bandanas covering their faces walked into People’s Pawn Jewelry, 2910 SW 30th Ave., holding a revolver and a crowbar.

According to a report, one of a robbers attempted to fire a worker, though a gun malfunctioned. The other pirate crushed a valuables box with a crowbar.
