A small plane made an emergency landing on a levee in the Everglades, officials said.
The aircraft, with two people on board, made its descent near Sawgrass Recreation Park, east of U.S. 27 and north of Interstate 75, said Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue spokesman Mike Jachles.
No injuries were reported, he said.
The area is inaccessible by car, Jachles said. A Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue airboat unit was on its way to the plane and its passengers around 7: 25 p.m. Wednesday.
