The Veil Nebula

Uncovering a Veil (Nebula)

The Veil Nebula, left behind by a blast of a large star thousands of years ago, is one of a largest and many fantastic supernova ruins in a sky.

The picture was taken with Hubble’s Wide Field Planetary Camera 2 in Nov 1994 and Aug 1997.
