Compact Blue Dwarf Galaxy

‘Like Salt Sprinkled on Black Velvet’

The NASA/ESA Hubble Space Telescope has prisoner this perspective of a dwarf universe UGC 5497, that looks a bit like salt sprinkled on black velvet in this image.

The intent is a compress blue dwarf universe that is infused with newly shaped clusters of stars. The bright, blue stars that arise in these clusters assistance to give a universe an altogether bluish coming that lasts for several million years until these fast-burning stars raze as supernovae.

UGC 5497 is deliberate partial of a M 81 organisation of galaxies, that is located about 12 million light-years divided in a constellation Ursa Major (The Great Bear). UGC 5497 incited adult in a ground-based telescope consult behind in 2008 looking for new dwarf universe possibilities compared with Messier 81.
