NASA Issues Statement on SpaceX Launch Date

WASHINGTON — In response to SpaceX’s proclamation that it has behind launch of a Falcon 9 rocket and Dragon booster from Apr 30 to May 7, NASA released a following matter from Associate Administrator for Human Exploration and Operations William Gerstenmaier:

“We conclude that SpaceX is holding a required time to assistance safeguard a success of this ancestral flight. We will continue to work with SpaceX in scheming for a May 7 launch to a International Space Station.”
